SLO Senior Center to receive new AC system

The San Luis Obispo City Council voted to accept a donation being made by the Tri-Counties Sheet Metal Workers’ Labor Management Cooperative Committee to the San Luis Obispo Senior Center in the form of a completely new air conditioning system.

Currently, the Senior Center has an air conditioning system, but it does not function properly. With the financial help of the Tri-Countries Sheet Metal Workers’ Labor Management Cooperative Committee, a local mechanical contractor named J.R. Barto Heating A/C and Sheet Metal Inc. and Union Sheet Meal Workers’ from Local Union No. 104 will be utilizing their skills to completely replace the A/C system.

Since the donation was unanimously passed by the city council, the project should begin shortly.
