Some Orcutt-area residents have reported receiving notices showing their bills are past due, but officials with Waste Management say you shouldn’t be alarmed.
The notices are due to a glitch in the system causing past due notices to be sent out to those enrolled in auto pay, according to Waste Management.
Officials say it is not a scam. Residents are told to not worry and pay their bills the same way and time they always have.
