Pismo Beach celebrated the Fourth of July with its annual fireworks show.
The city was expecting around 100,000 people.
People from all over the United States came to celebrate the Fourth of July at Pismo.
“The delicious food and the chance to drink a lot of alcohol on the beach, fair enough I would say,” said Stockton resident Joshua Koot.
“You get to go swimming, you get to go surfing, and get to just enjoy it,” said local Daniel Blanco.
The fireworks show lasted 30 minutes and finished off with a grand finale for local and out of town visitors.
“I’m very patriotic. I try to wear red, white and blue all of July,” said local Patricia Haney.
