A head-on crash near Santa Barbara injured three people who suffered significant injuries, according to Santa Barbara County Fire.
It happened around 1:30 this afternoon along Highway 154, a mile up from Foothill Road.
Officials said emergency crews extricated the victims and transported them to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
