The 5Cities Homeless Coalition says it will open its South County Warming Center in Arroyo Grande Thursday night due to possible showers.
The warming center is located at the South Country Regional Center, 800 W. Branch St., Arroyo Grande. It will open from 5:30 p.m. to 7 a.m.
Transportation to the shelter will be provided from these locations:
- Ramona Park: 5:15-5:30PM
- St Anthony’s (390 Bello St., Pismo Beach): 5:40-5:50PM
- Pismo Beach Outlets: 6:00-6:10PM
- Fin's Restaurant: 6:20-6:30PM
- Oceano Duck Pond: 6:45-7:00PM
Those in need are provided a safe, dry place to sleep and a hot meal.
Donations are being accepted of the following items:
- New warm clothing, socks, underwear
- Individually packaged food items
