A man arrested earlier this month on suspicion of robbing an Atascadero liquor store was arrested again Thursday in connection with another robbery.
Atascadero police say they were called to Aegis Medical Systems on Morro Road Thursday afternoon for a report of a suspicious subject.
Employees reportedly told police that a man entered the business and attempted to obtain medication by providing a false name. Police say when confronted about the false name, the man handed over a note stating it was a robbery.
Officers reportedly arrived in time to take the suspect into custody as he was leaving the clinic.
Police have identified him as Kyle Walls, 21, of Atascadero.
On May 6, Walls was arrested after police say he stole a bandana from Chalk Mountain Liquor and used a knife to slash at an employee who confronted him.
He was out on bail when he was arrested this week, so police say they requested that Walls' bail be increased this time. The court agreed and Walls is being held at the San Luis Obispo County Jail on charges of robbery and committing a felony while out on bail. His bail is set at $150,000.
