From classic to custom, one-of-a-kind cars made their way down Broadway Friday night.

Frank Serna comes to the car show every year from Bakersfield.

"We try to make it to the event every year. We've been coming for, I don't know, 15 years now, so it's pretty cool," Serna told KSBY.

Serna said he brought a car to the show, but he really came for the atmosphere.

"The roar of the engines, the tailpipes, the music, you know, the food, everything's pretty cool."

Serna appreciates the effort that goes into making each and every custom car. "I paint myself and I do my own work so I know the type of work and the hours you put into these cars so you know it's good to admire everybody else's work too," he said.

In order to do that hard work justice, Serna said you need to see the cars with your own eyes. "To be here in person [is] a different story. You see pictures of a car on the phone, doesn't do it justice until you're there actually looking at it in front of you. It's a whole different ballpark."

The West Coast Kustoms car show continues Saturday and Sunday. You can find event information here.

"If you guys haven't been here, you need to be here next year," Serna said.
