A fresh coat of paint has been added to a portion of the Los Osos Library affected by a fire at the start of the week.
The branch manager of the library, located at 2075 Palisades Ave., says CAL FIRE crews responded to the small fire at about 5 a.m. Monday. They were able to put out the flames before significant damage to the building occurred.
Some bushes on the outside of the wall near the parking lot were charred and the outside wall of the library reportedly damaged by smoke.
No word on what sparked the fire.
