On Sunday, August 10, from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m., travelers may face possible intermittent full traffic stops in both directions of Highway 101, approximately two miles north of the Santa Maria River Bridge.
During this time, PG&E will be conducting utility work on poles that require full temporary stops in traffic. Caltrans says the stops should not exceed more than five minutes.
The rolling stops may take place in both directions of Highway 101 with the assistance of the California Highway Patrol.
