Dignity Health patients who have insurance through Cigna may need to find new health care providers.
Dignity and Cigna are trying to negotiate new contracts, but so far have not been able to come to an agreement.
As a result, most Dignity Health facilities are no longer part of Cigna's California Provider Network.
Dignity says Cigna members can still visit the ER and may be eligible for treatment under California's continuity of care provisions.
