The San Luis Obispo's tourism department is offering a new incentive to stay in town and explore the area's wine region.
The promotion is called Sip, Stay and Save.
From now through November, people who stay at a San Luis Obispo hotel for two consecutive nights - excluding Saturday - can receive a $100 Uber credit.
The goal is to encourage people to not only explore the city but wine country.
"To highlight all the wonderful harvest activities we have this time of year, encouraging folks to get out and discover SLOcoast wine trails and experience the great weather on the Central Coast," San Luis Obispo Tourism Manager Molly Cano said. "Also to be able to encourage visitation and folks to stay here in SLO when the hotels have a little more availability."
The offer is made available through the city's Tourism Business Improvement District.
Cano said marketing funds collected from guests who stay in San Luis Obispo properties help afford opportunities like this.
To secure the deal, head to the Visit SLO website and fill out the form.
There are about 500 offers available.
