The complimentary shower service offered by the local non-profit Shower the People will start again at the San Luis Obispo Library.
People can get free hot showers on a first-come, first served basis each Sunday from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. beginning July 5.
The shower trailer will be parked between the library at 995 Palm Street and the parking garage.
The trailer has three private bathrooms, each with a toilet, sink and shower. Shower the People provides clean towels and washcloths, biodegradable soap and shampoo and basic personal items for free.
The goal of Shower the People is to offer showers to the homeless and critically low-income people with the hopes of enhancing their opportunities to more comfortably integrate into the community.
