Russell Park in Santa Maria will soon be open to the public.
The City says improvement work at the two-acre park, which has been underway since June, is now complete.
The renovations include a new playground, restrooms and landscaping.
The park could open Dec. 1 if the reseeded grass is able to withstand foot traffic at that time.
The work was paid for through state and federal funds.
