In-N-Out says it has settled a lawsuit with CAL FIRE.
The lawsuit was over a fire sparked in 2017 in the Huasna area of rural Arroyo Grande.
The lawsuit was seeking more than $1 million from the burger chain, claiming a tractor mowing grass on In-N-Out property caused the fire.
In a statement sent to KSBY News on Monday, Arnie Wensinger, Exec. VP, General Counsel said:
The terms of the settlement are not public and due to litigation the parties do not expect to have any further comment.
The fire burned about 245 acres.
