SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. — An injured hiker is recovering Sunday after San Luis Obispo City Fire rescued him from the Bishop Peak Open Space Saturday.
On the city of San Luis Obispo Instagram post, crews say the hiker was found and treated with advanced life support level medications before being brought to safety using an off-road vehicle.
The off-road vehicle allowed crews to access the hiker who was in a difficult to reach area.
The patient was transported to the hospital by city firefighter/paramedics and their partner agency San Luis Ambulance.
No word on the hiker's current condition.
