Light up Downtown in San Luis Obispo kicked off the night of Nov. 27.
It looks a little different this year because of the pandemic.
According to the Downtown SLO website, Santa's house sits in its usual spot in Mission Plaza, with a life-size photo of Santa outside.
There is also a mailbox set up for kids to drop off their letters to him and receive a letter back.
And instead of a carousel, a 20-foot rainbow light tunnel will illuminate the Plaza.
