A local gym is celebrating its tenth anniversary by giving families-in-need free memberships.
The San Luis Obispo Chamber of Commerce was on hand as MZR Fitness held its grand re-opening Saturday morning.
Along with a expanding into a larger location off Higuera Street, MZR Owner Mike Robinson is also creating a Health Families Program to help low income families who struggling to live a healthy lifestyle.
They'll be offered everything from free workouts to nutritional programs.
"I think there's a need. It's something that a lot of people say they wish they had more money so they could have a trainer or a gym so we want to take that barrier away from people and we want to give them the same opportunity," Robinson said.
