Graduation is right around the corner but the class of 2020 won't be having the celebration most of us remember.
Lompoc High School seniors are spending their last few months of school apart but on Friday, they were able to pick up their caps and gowns for a virtual ceremony.
Staff organized a drive-thru style pick up for the 460 graduating students.
Teachers were in the parking lot, holding up signs and telling students how much they miss them.
"The coronavirus is just something I didn't think I was ever going to really experience, something that would shut schools down, shut trade down, shut everything down," said Ryan Morgan, Lompoc High School senior.
Seniors also received yard signs and posters.
