A McDonald's restaurant in Santa Maria was demolished this week.
KSBY went to the location at 1710 South Broadway where piles of rubble can be seen across the lot.
A construction worker on site said the restaurant was torn down and they are now rebuilding a new McDonald's restaurant.
This is one of five McDonald's locations in Santa Maria. Construction is expected to be finished by August.
