There's just one more day left of the Morro Bay Winter Bird Festival.

Every Martin Luther King weekend, more than 500 bird lovers visit the Central Coast to see, photograph, and learn more about birds.

Upwards of 200 species are usually spotted.

"This afternoon we saw at least 10 osprey out in the bay which is amazing," said Gail Ballinger who is visiting from Orange County. "I mean they said just four or five years ago there were only one or two."

Sunday evening at 7 at the Cuesta Performing Arts Center there will be a speaking engagement called Dancing with the Grebes. It'll go until 8:30 p.m.

Monday things will resume at 7 a.m. and will wrap up at 10 a.m.
