Cal Poly graduate and NASA astronaut Victor Glover answered kids’ questions from the International Space Station (ISS) Thursday.
Glover piloted the NASA SpaceX Crew-1 mission to the ISS last month.
Now that he and the crew are settling into micro-gravity, he took questions from students around the country about what life is like up in space.
“I've bumped into quite a few things, but I'm working on it. I'm practicing. Floating in space is really awesome,” Glover said.
One student asked him for advice on becoming a pilot and astronaut. Glover said to always be resilient, a life-long learner and a team player.
Glover and the crew are expected to return to earth in the spring.
