Authorities say two people were sent to the hospital following a multi-vehicle crash along Highway 101 near Los Alamos.
Santa Barbara County fire officials say one of the patients suffered major injuries.
According to the California Highway Patrol's incident log, reports came in just before 6 p.m. Saturday of a traffic collision that appeared to be a "T-bone" crash southbound Highway 101 at Cat Canyon Road.
A black Toyota Camry and silver Honda Civic are reportedly involved.
