More outdoor dining options could soon be coming to Paso Robles.
The Paso Robles Chamber of Commerce just released a new survey so community members can share their thoughts.
One potential option is the concept of a parklet. It would take up a few parking spaces and turn them into small terrace areas for seating or dining.
"I think it's a good idea," said Jeff Wiesinger, Chef/Owner of Jeffry's Wine County BBQ. "I think we need more outdoor dining if the county is making us restrict our seating in our dining rooms."
"In addition, it's an expansion that's outdoors," said Tom Frutchey, Paso Robles City Manager. "Take advantage of the upcoming great weather but also to allow for that distancing."
The city is also considering temporary street closures for pedestrians and in-street dining.
The feedback from the survey will be presented to the city council during Tuesday's meeting.
The survey is only 7 questions. For the survey, click here.
