Pick your own pumpkin, play with animals at City Farm SLO's Harvest Festival

Fall is here and for the City Farm San Luis Obispo, that means harvesting time.

On Sunday, visitors enjoyed a number of family fun activities at City Farm SLO's 3rd annual Fall Harvest Festival.

People hopped on hayrides, picked their favorite pumpkins, roasted corn ears, played games and listened to live music.

The festival also included a tomato toss, weed pulling, pumpkin weight guessing contest and farm animal pen.

Produce from the farm is also available for purchase at City Farm SLO's Farmers Market.

The event takes place at 1221 Calle Joaquin on the other side of Los Osos Valley Road from 1 to 5 p.m.

Admission to the event was free.
