Police arrest four more people for DUI's in Paso Robles Friday night

Paso Robles police officers said they have been seeing an increase of people driving under the influence as they continue to make arrests.

On Friday, February 21st, the Paso Robles Police Department said officers arrested four people for driving under the influence (DUI).

According to a press release, one of the arrests involved a collision with a parked car. Officials said the passenger was injured in that collision and the driver was arrested and booked into the San Luis Obispo County Jail for felony DUI and other charges.

The driver in that incident had a blood alcohol content (BAC) more than double the legal limit, according to officials.

The other three DUI arrests came from traffic stops.

The Paso Robles Police Department is working to make roads safer by conducting traffic stops and saturation patrols in the area through an Office of Traffic Safety Grant.

Officers are asking community members to look out and report impaired drivers. Instead of getting behind the wheel intoxicated, they are asking people to take safe rides such as Uber and Lyft or have a designated driver.
