Paso Robles police are looking for people they say worked together to steal thousands of dollars in jewelry from a local department store.
It reportedly happened August 21 at Kohl's on the 100 block of Niblick Road.
Police say the burglars went into the store near closing time and one person acted as a lookout while another unscrewed a jewelry display case on the counter.
They reportedly ran out of the store with the display and got into a silver car that was waiting for them.
Police say they believe the thieves are also responsible for similar thefts in Turlock, Modesto and Gilroy.
