Fire crews will burn brush piles to reduce the risk of wildfires in Morro Bay State Park over the next two weeks.
California State Parks officials say crews will burn about 40 brush piles between May 5-15.
Burning may begin as early as 7 a.m. The fires will be out by approximately 5 p.m.
The burning of brush piles will happen between Balboa St. and La Loma Ave., along Quintana Dr.
