The Santa Barbara County Probation Department launched a new employment program for individuals on probation.
Department officials say the Prison to Employment (P2E) program will help improve the process for formerly incarcerated people reentering society and the labor workforce.
The P2E program provides employment through a partnership with Goodwill Industries.
Before entering P2E, clients will needs to complete a job readiness class and be referred to the program.
