Detectives with the Santa Barbara County Sheriff's Office have arrested two people on suspicion of carrying out a home-invasion robbery that occurred Monday.
In a press release from the sheriff's office, officials say detectives served a search warrant on the 6700 block of Del Playa Drive on Friday as part of an investigation into the robbery.
Officials say during the search, detectives found items said to have been taken during the robbery.
Detectives also arrested 21-year-old Heyaw Meteke of Isla Vista on suspicion of robbery and false imprisonment during the search. Police later booked Meteke into Santa Barbara County Jail with a $100,000 bail, officials said.
Authorities also arrested 21-year-old Jawad Hebbar of Isla Vista on accessory charges. Hebbar was also booked into the Santa Barbara County Jail with bail set at $20,000.
Police say the investigation is ongoing.
