A Santa Maria school district is working hard to feed students as closures continue.

The Santa Maria Joint Union High School District and the Food Service Department will provide walk-up and drive thru pick-up breakfast and lunch meal service at the student’s nearest comprehensive high school - Santa Maria, Pioneer Valley, and Ernest Righetti.

The meals will not cost families. They will be be offered to all students 18 and under, regardless of which school they attend or if they are on the meal program. Students must be present to receive the meals and they cannot be eaten on a school site.

Lunch for the day and breakfast for the next day will be served from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at the school cafeteria or the designated area.

If you are walking, go the school cafeteria.

If you are walking, stay in the car and meals will be distributed based on the number of children in the car.
