Construction on Shell Beach Road in the Shell Beach area is expected to be finished in August.
The City says streetlights will start being installed this week and landscaping in the area done by early June.
Officials add that paving should be done in mid to late June with crosswalks being installed after that.
Decorative fencing is already up.
The project began in September of 2018 and was expected to cost the city about $13 million.
