Shots were heard late Monday at around 10 p.m. near Camatti Street and North Third Street in Shandon.
First responders found one male victim with gunshot wounds and transported him to the hospital. His condition is unknown.
San Luis Obispo County Sheriff's Deputies and the California Highway Patrol are looking for a suspect, but there is no shelter-in-place order for Shandon residents.
