The San Luis Obispo County Sheriff's Office is investigating reports of burglaries that occurred in Nipomo early Friday morning.

In both cases, it was reported that a man entered a home and grabbed a female victim.

The first incident happened at about 3:30 a.m. in the 200 block of N. Burton Street. The second call came in at about 5:45 a.m. just a couple of blocks away in the 100 block of E. Tefft Street.

Sheriff's officials say the suspect left before law enforcement arrived on the scene and neither victim was physically injured.

Investigators believe the same man is responsible for both incidents. He is described as a light-skinned black male adult, 25-30 years old, thin build, approximately 5'11" tall, and clean-shaven with short hair. He was reportedly wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt, black pants, black shoes, a blue surgical mask, and possibly walking with a limp.

Sheriff's officials are asking anyone in the Old Town Nipomo area to check their surveillance cameras for suspicious activity between midnight and 7 a.m.

Anyone with information about this investigation is urged to call the sheriff's office at (805) 781-4550.
