ORIGINAL STORY: People traveling by train Tuesday through Santa Barbara or Ventura counties should expect some delays.
The Ventura County Fire Department reports a pedestrian appears to have been hit by a train in the Rincon Beach area of Ventura County.
Fire officials say the pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.

Shortly before 9:15 a.m., the Pacific Surfliner tweeted that Train 774 was stopped outside of Goleta due to police activity.
