A press conference is about to get underway in Santa Barbara where updates on the Cave Fire are expected to be released.
As of Tuesday morning, the fire had burned about 4,100 acres off Highway 154 after breaking out late Monday afternoon.
Evacuation orders and warnings were issued in parts of Goleta and Santa Barbara and some roads, including Highway 154, were closed.
The press conference is taking place at 11 a.m. at the Earl Warren Showgrounds.
Speakers include Santa Barbara County Fire Chief Mark Hartwig, Jim Harris of the Los Padres U.S. Forest Service, Scott Jalbert, CAL FIRE SLO unit chief and Santa Barbara County Sheriff Bill Brown.
