Santa Barbara local Will Breman dedicated "I Won't Give Up" by Jason Mraz to his mom.
Breman says "the chorus, 'I won't give up on us, even if the skies get rough', that's what she did for me."
He says his mother played a big part in helping him get through his struggles in middle school when he was first diagnosed with Asperger's.
"Being bullied and made fun of, I was just broken," says Breman "she was the most solid rock, and I couldn't be more grateful for her."
John Legend, Breman's coach, had very positive remarks about Breman's performance. John Legend said he thought it was very good for people to witness his vulnerable side.
