The mop up phase for a fire in the Santa Ynez Valley is now underway, according to the Los Padres National Forest.

The Range Fire broke out late Sunday night on Santa Barbara Road near Happy Canyon Road.

The U.S. Forest Service says 100 acres have burned and full containment is expected on Sunday. Restoration efforts were in progress on Friday in the burn area.

The Santa Barbara County Fire Department assisted the Los Padres National Forest on the firefighting efforts.

The cause is under investigation.
