Paso Robles High School held a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Friday afternoon to celebrate the opening of the Bearcat Institute of Cosmetology.
After the ceremony, guests toured the professional learning environment created for students. School officials say the institute is the newest addition to the high school's career technical education program, which provides students with hands-on training.
The program will offer students a pathway toward a professional license in the cosmetology industry.
