Carnegie Library and the Downtown City Park playground in Paso Robles were closed on Wednesday as the City conducted a beehive removal.
The beehive was located on the north side of the library in the park.
The removal was conducted by a qualified beekeeper and City staff, and the beehive was relocated to a safe space away from the public.
The library and playground will be closed all day Wednesday to ensure all of the remaining bees in the area disperse.
