The City of Paso Robles and Travel Paso estimate as many as 12,000 people attended the Independence Day and America's 250th birthday celebration at Barney Schwartz Park on Saturday.
The free event featured a Family Fun Zone, food trucks, live music, and a patriotic fireworks show.
Organizers believe cooler weather and the significance of the America 250 celebration attracted more people to the event compared to previous years, when approximately 10,000 people attended.
