Community members gathered for the Pismo State Beach Sandcastle Competition on Saturday.
The family-fun activity allowed people to watch or participate in building the sandcastles.
The event was open to participants of all ages and skills, and held by the Central Coast State Parks Association and Oceano Dunes District - Pismo.
