Flower lovers the Central Coast Dahlia Society is hosting its annual Dahlia Show in San Luis Obispo.
The free community event will have hundreds of award-winning dahlias in an incredible variety of colors, shapes and sizes.
Those attending can meet experienced dahlia growers, learn gardening tips and enjoy plenty of opportunities for photography and inspiration.

Two featured varieties this year are Misfit Kaleidoscope and Raeann’s Tiger’s Eye, alongside hundreds of other carefully cultivated blooms.
“This is one of the few opportunities each year for the public to see so many exceptional dahlias displayed together,” said Heather Jamieson, president of the Central Coast Dahlia Society.
The show takes place Saturday, August 8, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday, August 9, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall, located at 1515 Fredericks Street in San Luis Obispo.
Admission is free, and open to people of all ages.
