KSBY is teaming up with Vitalant for its annual Be a Hero Blood Drive on August 26.
Community members will have two opportunities to donate and help ensure blood is available for vulnerable patients.
Those who wish to donate can either visit the KSBY studio in San Luis Obispo or the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Santa Maria on August 26 from 12:30 to 6:30 p.m.

All donors will receive wraps and macaroni salad provided by Wandering Eats, and for those donating in San Luis Obispo, Paradise Shaved Ice will be on standby with free snow cones.
