A classic local favorite is taking over the old IHOP in San Luis Obispo.
IHOP restaurant on Madonna Road permanently closed its doors back in January after almost 30 years.
The long time restaurant known for its all-day breakfast menu is now being replaced by another restaurant.
Margie's Diner founded by a Morro Bay couple back in the 1980s will be returning to San Luis Obispo taking over this old IHOP location.
Margie's Diner also has a restaurant in Paso Robles.
