Police say they are working to identify the decedent.

(Thursday, Feb. 12) - Police are investigating the discovery of a body in San Luis Obispo.
Authorities say someone reported the body Thursday afternoon in a homeless encampment behind the Chevron gas station at the corner of Los Osos Valley Road and Calle Joaquin.
Police and forensic investigators from the San Luis Obispo County Sheriff's Office were still at the scene as of 6:30 p.m.
No further details were immediately available.
