Golden State Water Company has notified customers who live in the Country Club Estates and the Rolling Hills communities of Edna Valley in San Luis Obispo County to conserve water.
Officials say due to a power outage affecting a pumping station their water supplies right now may not meet demand unless customers conserve water and stop outdoor irrigation for the next 48 hours.
They say customers will be notified once the water supply is fully restored.
