The month of February marks Black History Month. In recognition of it, San Luis Obispo County held a celebration at the San Luis High School Library.

The event featured two guest speakers. That includes Dr. Jamie Patton, Associate Vice President for Student Affairs, Diversity, and Belonging at Cal Poly, and San Luis Obispo County District 4 Supervisor Jimmy Paulding.

Additionally, there was a potluck with traditional soul food for guests at the event.
