Crews with the San Luis Obispo Fire Department responded to a report of a structure fire at the 100 block of South Street on Thursday afternoon.
Officials say the structure was a manufactured home. Upon arrival, crews discovered the fire was burning inside the home. Firefighters quickly contained the fire and stopped it from spreading. Residences around the area were not impacted by the fire.
According to fire officials, no one was inside the home during the fire and no injuries were reported.
After the fire was put out, fire crews determined the home was unsafe to occupy due to the damage, leaving the resident displaced. However, they were placed in contact with the American Red Cross for help moving forward.
Crews are still working to determine what started the fire and the incident is under investigation.
