A crash on Highway 101 near the base of the Cuesta Grade caused a traffic backup on Wednesday afternoon.
It happened just after 2:30 p.m. near Old Stagecoach Road.
According to the California Highway Patrol, two vehicles were involved.
Traffic was stopped temporarily for emergency vehicles and tow trucks, but drivers should expect residual delays through the area.
