After a 35-18 victory over LA Pierce College on Saturday night, the Allan Hancock College football team clinched at least a share of its second-straight Pacific Conference title.

Trailing 10-7 into the 4th quarter, the Bulldogs piled up 28 unanswered points thanks to their explosive run-game. Qualik Davis, Ryheem Skinner, and Jayden Vargas each scored touchdowns of over 25 yards. Skinner led the trio with a team-high 123 rushing yards.

While the offense gave Hancock its lead, the defense sealed the advantage with a score of its own. Freshman defensive back Curt McDonald cashed in a 37-yard pick-six to make it a 35-10 ball game.

With the win, the Bulldogs improve to 7-1 overall and 4-0 in Pacific Conference play.

Hancock will try to lock up the championship outright next Saturday when hosting LA Harbor. Kickoff is set for 1 P.M. in Santa Maria.
